Who the hell are all these faggots? Eric is right, black metal is not regal. It's about as regal as ska. This thread sucks. The guy with the mullet is right. You're probably just too pussy to listen to black metal. You just can't handle bands like Burning Wench, Burzum, Carpathian Forest, Darkthrone, Hellhammer, Immortal, Mayhem, Merciful Fate, or even Rotting Christ. You're just too pussy. So fuck you, man! What do you listen to? Radiohead? The Smashing Pumpkins? David Bowie? You are the one who is the faggot. I bet you even like the new Coldplay. Eat a dead priests, Burninglove! Go post somewhere else. Like a forum for faggots or something.

I bet you even like the new Coldplay. Actually, I'm not that into it. It's okay, and there's some pretty good songs and all, but it's so unoriginal. Like, if they're not ripping off Kraftwerk, they're ripping of U2, and if they're not ripping off U2, they're ripping off Radiohead and sometimes they're ripping off all three at the same time. And "Fix You" is the cheesiest thing I've ever heard.

It's like they're trying to be too big and epic - like U2. And have you noticed how the production is kind of flat? Everything kind of blends together. Oh, and I'm with you on "Fix You." That song is totally cringe-worthy.

And have you noticed how the production is kind of flat? Everything kind of blends together. Totally! They put the same Brian Eno rip-off ambient track behind EVERYTHING. There's really only two songs that stand out, IMO: "Talk" and "Speed of Sound," and "Talk" is basically a thinly-veiled Kraftwerk cover and on "Speed of Sound" they managed to rip THEMSELVES off (I'm referring to "Clocks," obviously). I don't know. I'll keep listening to it, maybe it will grow on me.

By the way I read this sweet story poem thing HAHAHA!!! ;D I don't know which it is but it is very powerful. Their you go! Dear Friend,
I just had to write to tell you how much I love you and care for you.
Yesterday, I saw you walking and laughing with your friends. I hoped that soon you'd want me to walk along with you, too. So, I painted you a sunset to close your day and whispered a cool breeze to refresh you.
I waited .... you never called. I just kept on loving you. As I watched you fall asleep last night, I wanted so much to touch you. I spilled moonlight onto your face, trickling down your cheeks as so many tears have. You didn't even think of me. I wanted so much to comfort you.
The next day I exploded a brilliant sunrise into glorious morning for you. But you woke up late and rushed off to work. You didn't even notice. My sky became cloudy and my tears were the rain.
I LOVE YOU!!!
Oh, if you'd only listen. I really LOVE you. I try to say it in the quiet of the green meadow and in the vibrant blue sky. The wind whispers my love throughout the treetops and spills it into the vivid colors of all the flowers. I shout it to you in the thunder of the great waterfalls and compose love songs for birds to sing for you. I warm you with the clothing of my sunshine and perfume the air with nature's sweet scent. My love for you is deeper than any ocean and greater than any need in your heart. If you'd only realize how I care.
My dad sends his love. I want you to meet him. He cares, too. Fathers are just that way. So, please, call on me soon. No matter how long it takes, I'll wait forever.
Because I LOVE YOU.
Your Friend, Jesus www.fathershands.com/

List your favourite bands here and why you feel they are/were important to the BlackMetal scene. In answer to the original question I would have to say B!, from the Cities. This is because they are metal, and most of the band is actually black.

If God is this petty we all might as well convert to Satanism.
BTW, if anyone else dares post dark blue text on a dark gray background I will make them listen to 13 hours of consecutive James Taylor tracks. If they enjoy themselves, I will kill them. (For their own good.)

This is the strangest thread on the internet. So are you freaks just being even weirder than usual, or did a software glitch really cause a bunch of black metal fans and one Christian Californian to get sucked into the Regal Social Club forum like some sort of interdimensional rift? Because that would be so unbelievably awesome I can't even fathom it. And I've been fathoming for a while now.
