The first official RSCBC meeting is in just 8 days. What do you guys think we should cook?

Biz -
I erased your posts because there is to be no irony in the Clubs forum. If you were honestly suggesting that we cook lamb at the book club meeting, then I sincerely apologize. I did not erase Kickstand's post because "meat" seemed plausible, while "lamb" seemed like it could only be a joke.

I was not aware that there are rules in the clubs forum. You should really make up a rules thread so there is no more confusion.

I'm up for any of that. We could even do a side of pasta if we wanted to. We also have the choice of twice-baked potatoes. Cheese and pesto stuffed chicken breasts or we can look through my library of cookbooks.

Maybe we should just let Derek decide. He seems to know more about food than us.
Also:
Derek I keep trying to call you and you don't answer. Aren't we freinds anymore?

Matt- I am stuck in South Dakota this weekend. They don't have phones here that work. Nowhere in South Dakota can I get signal. We are still friends though. In fact if you drive here and rescue me we will be even better friends.
What did you want anyway?

I think I can speak for the entire group when I say that this week's meal was a smashing success. Are we doing pizza next week?

what do we want to cook tonight. I have heard that something light might be in order and I think I agree. Fish maybe with some wild rice, fresh vegtables. Or maybe a nice salad.

I'm thinking fish, too. With a side of fried vegetables (asparagus, green/red peppers, tomatoes, etc.). Then perhaps another side, something simple like some good bread with hummus and garlic oil for dipping.
